The writer Robert J. Rader passed away 04/05/1997. In 2006 a bridge in his hometown El Paso de Robles, the 13th Street Bridge was renamed to the Robert J. Rader Memorial Bridge. His grave site is at PASO ROBLES DISTRICT CEMETERY
