Merve Ozaslan is a Turkish collage photographer born in Istanbul, graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University 2010, started creating photographic collages in 2012.
Connecting both the old and the new to create a juxtaposing piece - lifeless urban city with the vibrancy of scenic landscapes.
Ozaslan's work consists of two images sliced together.

It creates quite an interesting concept, like a window to a whole new view of life.
Slicing the landscapes into certain parts of the photograph, for this image it's displayed within the hoops. Exposing two different views of the children playing, depicting them on land and within water.
The texture of the water is further enhanced, I think that colour has a huge impact as instead of keeping the images fully in colour he is only focusing on just the scenic view placed in a way which feels organic.
